Join a Caring Community Focused on Health As a Senior Configuration Specialist, you will play a vital role in configuring and optimizing applications or systems that align with our business processes and IT infrastructure. Your work will involve developing modules, reports, and intricate functions to support operational and clinical systems. This is a remote role with required travel to Humana's office in Louisville, KY for training or meetings approximately once a month. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST or CST, with occasional weekend commitments. In this position, you will focus on implementing new features and process changes, advising the business, evaluating system requests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining thorough documentation. You will have the opportunity to influence departmental strategy and will make decisions on complex technical matters with considerable independence. Utilize Your Skills to Make a Difference Required Qualifications: Epic Healthy Planet Fundamentals for Health Plans Certification or, Ability to successfully complete the Epic certification exam within 60 days of training, which will involve travel. Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Health Informatics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or system configuration. Experience in healthcare and Medicare environments. Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning skills; detail-oriented and organized. Proficient in data analysis and interpreting complex data sets. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels. Strong problem-solving abilities and expertise in process improvement recommendations. Willingness to travel to Louisville monthly and as required for the role. Preferred Qualifications: Epic Payer Platform Core Certification. Knowledge and experience with healthcare systems. Experience in user provisioning. EPIC analyst certification relevant to business functions like utilization management or care management. Experience with electronic health records platforms (Epic, Cerner, etc.). Proven ability to lead initiatives effectively. Strong attention to detail and robust follow-up practices. Results-driven and able to manage projects efficiently. Experience leading project teams and driving implementations. Familiarity with Humana's internal policies, procedures, and systems. Work-from-Home Requirements: Must have a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps; wired cable or DSL connection is preferred. Satellite or cellular connections are only acceptable upon leadership approval. Employees from California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive bi-weekly internet expense reimbursement. Humana provides the necessary telephone equipment for your role. Must work from a dedicated space free from interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Additional Information: Travel up to 25% annually for stakeholder engagement and product initiatives is required. Initial travel to Wisconsin for training/certification is expected within the first 60 days of employment. Typical Work Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST or CST, with the possibility of weekend work. The role requires occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range $97,900 - $133,500 per year This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
