This organization offers a collaborative campus environment and is seeking a hands-on HR professional to lead recruiting and HR operations as a key department resource.Job Description:This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a growing educational institution. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee recruitment efforts, manage onboarding processes, and serve as the primary HR contact for staff. This role will transition to a full-time salaried position after the initial contract period. The position is fully onsite, with occasional offsite attendance at job fairs and professional events.Key Responsibilities:Represent the organization at education-focused career fairs and networking eventsManage the end-to-end hiring lifecycle, from requisition through offerLead recruitment efforts for instructional and school-based staffProactively source candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn and IndeedUtilize HRIS system to create job postings, track applicants, and maintain HR recordsCoordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientationEnsure compliance with evolving employment laws, including harassment prevention standardsServe as the primary HR resource for employees, fostering a welcoming and supportive workplace environmentQualifications:Experience managing full-cycle recruitmentFamiliarity with HRIS systemsKnowledge of employment compliance requirements and HR best practicesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all staff levelsComfortable working independently as the sole HR team memberAdditional Details:Schedule: Standard business hoursWork Environment: Fully onsite (5 days/week)Employment Type: Contract-to-hireAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
