The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the center level OPR for Material Support Programs assigned within the center. Support extends to all Supply Chain Managers (SCMs) and related Supply Chain Functionals. Mission Statement - Provide management attention and Supply Chain Management support for commodity groups assigned to 748 SCMG Foreign Military Sales (FMS) spares requirements, including but not limited to, processing requisitions for exchangeable repair, stock release, purchase request initiation for spares, providing alternative sources of support to the customer, and processing Supply Discrepancy Reports. Responsibilities encompass oversight of FMS customer requirement and status from initial receipt of requisition through final shipment. Requirements: 1. Must be a U.S. Citizen. 2. Obtain & maintain a Security clearance (if applicable). 3. No PCS expenses will be paid. 4. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station approximately 5 days per year. 5. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours. Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): 1. Ability to analyze program data, develop and manage support plans, coordinate with stakeholders, resolve issues, and deliver timely, high quality program management products including reports, schedules, action items, and briefings. 2. Ability to plan, organize, and oversee logistics operations by developing integrated goals, establishing and revising policies, assessing performance through metrics, allocating resources, implementing organizational changes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting efficient, high quality mission support across all levels of the organization. 3. Ability to lead and execute special logistics projects by identifying requirements, establishing goals, conducting research and analysis, preparing detailed responses, resolving complex or ambiguous issues, and recommending informed actions that support organizational, installation, and agency objectives. 4. Ability to represent the organization across installation and functional areas by building effective working relationships, engaging with key customers to assess satisfaction and resolve issues, ensuring staff provide proper guidance, and leading special projects through research, analysis, detailed reporting, and informed recommendations on complex issues affecting the organization, installation, command, or agency.
