Mechanical Conveyor Installation Foreman / Millwright

Talascend is currently seeking a Mechanical Conveyor Installation Foreman / Millwright for a contract opportunity with our client in West Monroe, Louisiana. Overview This role involves leading small conveyor installation projects with minimal supervision, focusing on delivering high-quality work while meeting demanding schedules. Responsibilities Lead small conveyor installation projects with minimal supervision Independently run small projects with little to no direction Supervise and manage 5-10 installers Answer field questions and ensure efficient installation Read blueprints and perform layout work Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical conveyor installation experience Preferred: Relevant certifications in conveyor installation, construction management, or occupational health and safety Requirements 100% travel required Prior experience installing conveyor systems for UPS, FedEx, or Amazon (at least one required) Experience with both weld-up and bolt-up conveyor installation Strong technical knowledge Demonstrated commitment to safety with a solid safety track record Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry safety regulations Shift 58-hour work week Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM We thank all applicants for their interest.
