A healthcare imaging professional is needed to operate advanced computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing detailed cross-sectional images essential for diagnosing medical conditions. This role involves performing various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, with a focus on maintaining patient care, data integrity, and equipment functionality. Location Overview: Situated along the breathtaking Mendocino Coast, this opportunity is set in a region where miles of stunning ocean views meet dense coastal forests. Key Responsibilities: Operate CT and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as needed. Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for accurate radiologist interpretation. Manage image transfer using PACS and teleradiology systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Maintain detailed records, billing information, and adherence to HIPAA and patient privacy regulations. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment. Monitor and manage supply inventory. Provide patient care for a diverse age range, from adolescents to geriatrics. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (Radiologic Technologist), with CT certification required. Valid Radiologic Tech license in California required; advanced CT certification highly preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory. Venipuncture IV certification required; Fluoroscopy license and additional venipuncture certification preferred. Experience with PACS, teleradiology, and medical imaging technology. Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality standards.
