With rapid national expansion underway, VTL is launching new brokerage offices and an air and ocean division in 2026, further strengthening its position as a full-service logistics powerhouse.Position SummaryJoin our Charleston Team at Vista Trans Logistics, as our Logistics Coordinator to help streamline our freight operations and oversee current house accounts to assist us with improving our load coverage efficiency and expand our carrier relationships. In this position, trucking market expertise, effective communication and organization is critical to the role. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for posting, negotiating and covering full truckload shipments across the US, to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction across several accounts. This role also offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills to drive growth, assist in our expansion, and eventually have the opportunity to sell and build/manage your own book of business.What You'll DoCoordinate and manage full truckload (FTL) shipments for company house accounts (mainly spot and expedite freight)Source and build strong lasting relationships with reliable carrier partnersBook and cover multiple loads per day (with support)Negotiate rates with carriers while maintaining service standardsTrack shipments from pickup to delivery to ensure on-time performanceCommunicate proactively with customers, carriers, and internal team membersProblem-solve in real time to prevent or resolve service disruptionsMaintain accurate documentation and data entry within TMS systemsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years of experience working at a third-party logistics (3PL) brokerageDirect experience in a Logistics Coordinator or carrier sales-type roleProven ability to book multiple FTL loads per dayStrong carrier relationship-building skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailWell-spoken and confident communicator (phone & email)Ability to work full-time in office (local candidates only)Self-motivated with a strong desire to grow within the logistics industryComfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environmentFamiliarity with transportation management systems such as TMS load board systems, DAT, Truckstop, Macropoint, Carrier411, etc.Knowledge of freight regulations, industry conditions and safety standards.BenefitsBase Salary w/ Yearly IncreasesQuarterly Bonus OpportunitiesExpedited growth and Professional DevelopmentWork Flexibility - 4 days in office, 1 day remote.Does this sound like you?
