Job Details Location: Lewes, DE 19958 (Sussex County) - Delaware travel nursing, Delaware nursing jobs Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 - August 3, 2026) Setting: Acute Care - Cardiac Stepdown Unit / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Shift: 12-hour nights (night shift) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910 - $2010 Employment Type: Travel (travel nurse, travel nursing assignment) Charting System: Cerner (electronic medical record experience preferred) Job Requirements Active RN license in Delaware or compact state (Registered Nurse) Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Stepdown, IMC, PCU, or Telemetry settings Previous travel nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Flu vaccination required Strong cardiac telemetry, patient assessment, and critical thinking skills Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit, including cardiac telemetry monitoring and progressive care interventions Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, telemetry strips, and response to treatments Float as needed to Stepdown, Medical-Surgical, CDU, and ED hold units to support patient flow and staffing needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, cardiology, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans Provide patient and family education and emotional support related to cardiac conditions, medications, and discharge planning Maintain accurate and timely charting using Cerner and adhere to documentation standards for telemetry and progressive care patients Apply now to join our healthcare team - trusted travel nurse opportunity for experienced Cardiac Stepdown RNs in Lewes, DE.
