We are looking for a Program Manager to lead the coordination and execution of NAVSEA ship modernization activities. You will be at the forefront of planning and integrating alteration work packages, repair specifications, design requirements, and logistics support. Collaboration is key as you will work with various Regional Maintenance Centers, shipyard contractors, and government teams to ensure the accuracy of all ship alteration data. Led by Matt Weber, a Navy veteran with extensive experience in shipyard modernization, our team has been recognized for its exceptional contributions to our projects. As a Program Manager, your responsibilities will include: Tracking and reporting on production schedules, financial monitoring, and overall ship condition during CNO Availability. Collecting and analyzing specialized modernization production information while serving as a technical advisor to align the work of multiple organizations. Facilitating visits to ships and contractor sites to assess NAVSEA or TYCOM alterations and installations. Reviewing and approving Condition Found Reports with a focus on cost, production, and testing implications. Coordinating testing efforts with shipyards and Navy commands, ensuring timely communication of any necessary delays. Contributing to post-installation meetings, capturing insights and changes made during the process. Producing high-quality reports and presentations that convey your findings effectively. Ensuring compliance with security protocols in all aspects of your role. Guiding and mentoring junior team members in your area of expertise. Taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by the senior Program Manager. To succeed in this role, you should bring: An Active DoD Govt Issued Secret Clearance. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of directly related experience. Up to 10% travel availability. Further advantageous skills and experiences include: Strong analytical skills, with a focus on risk analysis and quality assurance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with DDG 1000 ship systems.
