Role- Vmware Consultant L3 Location- Milwaukee-onsite Keywords: vSphere, VMware Cloud Foundation, VCF, VVD, , VSAN, VRA/ VRO, SDDC Manager, HCX, Platespin, Double take, migration, P2V, V2V, Design, LLD, HLD Mandatory Certification : VCP-DCV 6.x Preferred Certification/s : VCP-CMA 6.x, VCAP - DCV/CMA Mandatory Skills Expertise on design, hands on implementation and operation on VMware Solutions (vSphere, vSAN, SRM, DRS, HA, NSX/ NSX-T, VMware Cloud Foundation, VVD). Version 6.x and above Expertise on design and implementation of Physical Servers in conjunction with other systems including Storage, Network, Monitoring etc. HPE / Dell / IBM Physical Servers, Enclosures HPE Synergy Cisco UCS Good knowledge of HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure) Solutions, including VxRail, vBlock, HPE SimpliVity and Nutanix. Expertise on planning, design, implementation, troubleshooting and operation of DR solutions includes but not limited to stretched cluster / metro cluster / storage replication Good expertise on migration planning, migration execution using tools like HCX , Platespin, Doubletake, River meadow Expertise on Design and execute IT infrastructure solutions, data center, servers, storage, network, databases, security and operations. Hands on expertise on Windows and Linux platforms including AD / DNS/ DHCP /IPAM and other OS related work Job Descriptions: s Vmware/ Compute SME the person is expected to do the below tasks Understanding Customer /Project /Organization requirement and deliver design, implementation, troubleshooting and if necessary operational support in the technologies listed in mandatory skills aligning to OEM, Industry and Wipro best practices Develop migration strategy, migration plans and execute with zero flaw on different scenario like P2V, V2V, V2C, P2C, P2P Collaborate with Project/Program manager, Customer SMEs, Wipro Managers, Technology Towers/ Practices to ensure a successful delivery SME is responsible for troubleshooting issues and ensuring that projects will be executed within the stipulated period and well within the budget allocated. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to conduct research into server, storage, virtualization issues, standards, and products Assist in Data Center assessments, infrastructure risk identification To prepare necessary documentation including HLD, LLD, SOP, Case Studies and other documentation as needed SME is responsible for the design, specifications, sizing, development, and oversight of policies, standards and procedures to ensure a consistent architecture and management throughout the organization SME is expected to contribute to other organizational drives including skill development of juniors, solution review , solution development etc. Process/ Quality Knowledge: ITIL certification v3 and/or V4 Foundation level Knowledge on quality processed Soft Skill Good communication, documentation, reporting Focused on quality of deliverables Customer focused, demonstrate ownership Willing to work in different time zones as per project/ Customer requirement Good attitude to work in team and as individual contributor based on the project and situation Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
