Bus Driver

Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team. This is a part-time position for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting students to and from school and other school-related activities. Responsibilities: - Operate a school bus safely and efficiently while following all traffic laws and regulations - Ensure the safety of all passengers on the bus - Maintain a clean and organized bus - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus - Communicate with school officials and parents as needed - Follow a set schedule and route - Assist students with disabilities as needed - Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records - Attend training sessions and meetings as required Requirements: - Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements - Must pass a background check and drug test - Must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school officials - Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic - Must have a good driving record and be able to maintain it - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds - Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and late afternoons - Must attend required training sessions and meetings as necessary.
