Computed Tomography Tech Sign-On Bonus Available / Highly Competitive Pay / Full-Time Position / Multiple Shifts Available / Comprehensive Benefits Package Position Summary/Purpose: In this advanced allied imaging role, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. As a CT Technologist, your main responsibility will be to perform all imaging and clinical functions associated with CT technology. You will also conduct specialized imaging procedures and support the Radiologist during interventional procedures that require CT guidance. Key Responsibilities: Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional. Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients. Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images. Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging. Examining images to ensure they're usable. Updating patient medical information. Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment. Keeping an inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required. Qualifications: Required Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program Required Certification / Licensure: Current Basic Life Support certification Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Texas Department of State Health certification Work Experience: 1 year of experience is required.
