Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Registered Occupational Therapist, dedicated to evaluating and treating individuals with physical and cognitive challenges that limit their daily activities. Essential Responsibilities: Uphold privacy and security standards for Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Foster strong, professional relationships with patients, families, healthcare teams, and external agencies. Provide care within the scope of occupational therapy practice, demonstrating expertise through comprehensive patient evaluations and tailored care plans. Serve patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics, ensuring education and support throughout their care journey. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational policies. Offer clinical guidance to Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed. General Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Supervisory Role: This position does not include supervisory or management duties. Education and Experience: Possess education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance. Licenses and Certifications: Current Occupational Therapy licensure through the appropriate state board. Valid BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation. If driving is required, a valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting state requirements are necessary. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a similar clinical environment is advantageous. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, effective communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. Physical Requirements: Medium work involving occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent standing or walking (26-50% of the workday).
