(Purpose of RoleThe Specialist, Category Marketing - Train plays a critical role in shaping and delivering franchise-led, consumer-first storytelling across the Train category, with explicit accountability for representing the Mens Train consumer within a co-gender marketing model. This role operates with ownership, product fluency, and strategic contribution, partnering closely with Senior Managers and cross-functional teams.Your ImpactOwn development and execution of seasonal category toolkits, ensuring Mens Train product, insights, and storytelling are fully embedded within co-gender narrativesServe as a subject-matter expert in Mens Train, translating technical product features, fit, and innovation into clear consumer benefitsOwn execution, synthesis, and share-out of research related to the Mens Train consumer, sport culture, and competitive landscapePartner with Senior Managers to develop strategic briefs and GTM and product milestone presentations, integrating consumer insights, cultural intelligence, and business data into cohesive, consumer-first narrativesProactively collaborate with regional marketing teams to support localization while maintaining global consistencyOwn seasonal seeding and activation processes for Mens Train stories, including execution, tracking, and recapSupport photo and content planning to ensure Mens Train hero products are accurately representedParticipate in travel for shoots, market visits, and consumer/athlete insight gatheringQualifications3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, category marketing, merchandising, or related consumer-focused roles within a global consumer, sport, or lifestyle brandDemonstrated ability to translate consumer, athlete, cultural, and product inputs into clear, well-structured storytelling and category deliverablesGrowing product fluency in performance apparel and footwear, with the ability to understand technical innovation and communicate consumer benefitsExperience supporting or contributing to global or multi-region marketing work, with curiosity and appreciation for regional nuanceStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality output consistentlyConfident communicator with the ability to present ideas, insights, and work-in-progress to cross-functional partnersStrong passion for performance sport, training culture, and athlete-led product creationWillingness and ability to travel periodically for shoots, market visits, and consumer/athlete insight gatheringWorkplace Location Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office. Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
