RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

Department: Respiratory TherapistCertifications Required: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALSLocal Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.- # treatments per day: 8-15 treatments per person. Days: 2 RT staffed (Manager to assist as needed). Nights: 2 RTs staffed. - Types of patients: Inpatient, ER- and lesser load inpatients TID vs QIDs, Birth center, Inpatient, ER peds stabilize and ship others. - What areas do they cover: RT attends high risk deliveries- there quite a bit, ICU experience. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year in RT. Must be comfortable and have experience attending deliveries. Facility has the most births per month of all the Marshfield Hospitals. Ok with first time travelers. Ok with duos. Servo U experience preferred but not required. - Job Duties: ABG draws and inpatient EKGs. - Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist?: Assist a physician. - Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist?: 3rt on days if needed. - Shifts & Scheduling: 630-0700 12 hr shifts, manager balances schedule, will take suggestions, and usually able to accommodate block scheduling. - Weekend Requirements: Every third: Friday Saturday Sunday. - Holiday Requirements: Every third, assignments mapped out. - Call or standby call requirement?: Very rare. - What is call response time: N/A. - Floating Requirements: None. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: OR/ hospital provided scrubs. - RT Equipment: Servo U adult vents/ infant Cpaps, etc. - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist or intensivist in house 24/7. - Department Specific Orientation: 3-6 shifts in department.MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield.
