Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412 Floor: 4th Building: Bay Area Heart Hospital General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 25 • Number of Staff - 40+ • Type of staff: o Day Shift - 1 free charge, 1 UC, 2 PCTs, 5 RNs o Night Shift - 5 RNS, 1 PCT • Patient Ratios - 6:1, sometimes 5:1 • Type of equipment - Baxter IV Pumps, KCI wound vacs, SCD pumps • EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • BLS • ACLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. • Meditech experience • Telemetry experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • In addition to general med/surg competencies, it is preferred that applicants can o Manage chest tubes o Manage non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodorone drips o Manage weight-based heparin drips Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. • Scrub Color - Royal blue • Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. • Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc. • • Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc.Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent.
