Tittle: Electrical Engineer (Mid-Senior Level ) Location: Tulsa, OK or Houston, TX Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and implementation of electrical systems supporting critical infrastructure, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. This role has a strong focus on power generation, controls, automation integration, and ensuring the highest levels of operational safety and reliability. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovation through advanced automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage solutions while ensuring compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks Support infrastructure including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities Integrate advanced technologies such as: Automation systems Real-time monitoring Energy storage solutions Implement arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems Provide technical expertise in: Power distribution Electrical schematics System layouts Manage engineering projects from concept through completion Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams Mentor and support junior engineers Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited institution required) 4+ years of engineering experience in: Natural gas Data centers Related industries Strong experience in Power Generation and Controls Ability to review arc flash studies and implement improvements Working knowledge of electrical design codes: NEC NEMA API IEEE Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC applications Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) License Project management experience Experience with PLCs and HMI systems Instrumentation system design (PLC & HMI) Experience across project phases: Pre-FEED FEED EPC Experience with small to medium facility projects
