Education Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical institution. Completion of a Family Medicine Residency program that meets accreditation standards. Certifications Board Certification in Family Medicine required. Eligibility for (or possession of) a valid Pennsylvania medical license. BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
