Dynamic opportunity available for a Certified Pharmacy Technician with licenses in both Virginia and Maryland to serve as a vital liaison between pharmacies and healthcare facilities across the region. This direct hire position emphasizes travel within assigned territories, including key locations in Virginia and Maryland, providing a unique field role that combines clinical expertise with customer service and relationship-building skills. Key Responsibilities: Foster and maintain strong relationships with facility leadership and staff, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Support and guide facilities regarding medication therapy and regulatory compliance, collaborating with directors of clinical services and pharmacy operations. Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly, enhancing client satisfaction and care quality. Identify opportunities for service expansion and introduce innovative products tailored to client needs. Conduct training and educational sessions for facility personnel on pharmacy systems and processes. Perform monthly onsite visits, prepare reports, and participate in survey preparations. Inspect medication carts, medication rooms, and observe medication administration as requested. Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards while collaborating with internal pharmacy teams for seamless service coordination. Qualifications: Valid Pharmacy Technician licenses for Virginia and Maryland are required. PTCB certification is strongly preferred. Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings is advantageous. Familiarity with pharmacy and medication distribution software such as EMAR, Medbank, and Frameworks. Reliable transportation for travel and willingness to accommodate occasional overnight stays. Schedule: Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility for later audits. Approximately 40 hours per week, with minimal weekend requirements.
