Job Description

Job Title: HR & Operations Generalist We are seeking a high-caliber HR Generalist who thrives at the intersection of strategic people management and sophisticated administrative operations. This isn't a "paper-pushing" role; we need a proactive professional who understands the unique rhythm of a manufacturing environment and possesses the executive-level administrative polish to keep our front-and-back-office operations seamless. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the production floor and the executive suite, ensuring our workforce is supported while our administrative systems are world-class. Key Responsibilities1. Human Resources Excellence Full-Cycle Talent Management: Manage recruitment for both skilled trades (CNC operators, technicians) and administrative staff. Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for floor staff and management, resolving conflicts with a firm but empathetic hand. Compliance & Safety: Maintain deep knowledge of labor laws and OSHA requirements specific to manufacturing. Benefits & Payroll: Oversee benefit administration and coordinate with payroll to ensure 100% accuracy for a diverse hourly and salaried workforce. 2. High-End Administrative Operations Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative partnership to the Plant Manager or Director level (calendar mastery, travel logistics, and briefing prep). Office Architecture: Design and maintain sophisticated filing systems, vendor management protocols, and internal communication flows. Documentation: Draft high-stakes internal memos, policy manuals, and SOPs with flawless grammar and professional tone. 3. Manufacturing Integration Workforce Planning: Coordinate shift schedules and headcount tracking to align with production goals. Onboarding: Lead immersive orientations that emphasize shop-floor safety, quality standards, and company culture. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 5+ years in an HR role, with at least 3 years specifically within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Administrative Pedigree: Proven track record of managing complex administrative projects or supporting C-suite executives. Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and the full Microsoft 365 Suite. The "Manufacturing Mindset": You aren't afraid to put on steel-toed boots to talk to a supervisor on the floor, but you can pivot instantly to present a report in a boardroom. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a significant plus. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $35.00 - $40.00
