Blending Operator

Job Summary The Blending Operator is responsible for performing daily blending and mixing operations in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures raw materials are measured, blended, and processed accurately according to formulas, production schedules, and quality standards. The Blending Operator helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized blending area while supporting overall production goals. Key Responsibilities Operate blending and mixing equipment according to production schedules and instructions Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials following formulas and batch instructions Stage materials and prepare ingredients for blending operations Monitor blending equipment during operation to ensure proper performance Record batch information and production data accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the blending area Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality standards, and company safety procedures Assist with basic sanitation and cleaning of blending equipment and work areas Report equipment issues or material shortages to supervisors Assist with minor equipment adjustments or maintenance when needed Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure production schedules are met Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous manufacturing, blending, or production experience preferred Basic understanding of GMPs and quality standards is a plus Forklift experience is a plus Ability to follow formulas, batch sheets, and written instructions Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift Frequent walking, bending, squatting, and reaching Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds frequently Work performed around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery.
