Job Summary T h e Grid & Market Solutions (GMS) - Resource Integration and Ongoing Operations (RIOO) software development team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Angular & Java Full Stack Developer to join the team on a contract basis. Job Description Design, develop, unit test, and deploy scalable web applications using Angular (TypeScript) and Java RESTful APIs. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java (JAX-RS/Jersey implementation). Build responsive and performant front-end functionality using Angular (v11+). Integrate Java backend services with Angular front-end applications. Work with Oracle Database to store, retrieve, manage, and display application data. Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, materialized views, and database triggers. Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability across the full stack. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and implement new features. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and security vulnerabilities. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices. Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality. Work closely with QA teams to support comprehensive testing and validation efforts. Contribute to documentation including technical specifications, system architecture, and operational procedures. Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices. Apply sound architectural principles and design patterns in application development. Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve development methodologies. Job Skills Required Minimum 8 years of full-stack application development experience using Angular and Java technologies. At least 5 years of strong hands-on experience with Angular (version 11 or higher). Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java (version 8 or higher) development. Experience developing RESTful services using JAX-RS/Jersey. Experience using Hibernate for ORM-based persistence. Strong experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL. Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, materialized views, and triggers. Experience with front-end state management libraries, preferably NgRx. Solid understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Experience using version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Experience with cloud platforms and related services. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks. Strong understanding of security principles in web application development. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
