Summary:As a Commercial Sourcing Manager for Network Systems, you will play a pivotal role in driving sourcing decisions and managing supplier relationships for critical AI network hardware and infrastructure categories, including switches, off-site manufacturing and Integration, and silicon. You will serve as the primary commercial sourcing and operations contact, leading negotiation and sourcing strategies, partnering with engineering and technology teams to drive innovation, and ensuring high quality standards and cost-savings through a customized supply chain. This position reports to the Director of Network Global Technology Sourcing.Required Skills:Commercial Sourcing Manager, Network Systems Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strategic sourcing plans to support Meta's Infra deployments for Network Hardware Develop and maintain strategic vendor partnerships through effective relationship management, including implementing and managing performance metrics (e.g., scorecards), conducting regular business reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement, and fostering collaborative relationships with key vendors to drive business growth and ensure Meta's commercial and technical requirements are met Ensure business metrics are met throughout the end-to-end process, from manufacturing through to delivery and operation Maintain current knowledge of technology and industry trends for relevant technology and perform analysis on relevant offerings Manage operations and improve the business by defining and driving core business metrics and risk indicators. Provide metrics to quarterly business reviews to measure supply chain health and forward-looking risk Drive supplier proposals, RFP/RFI/RFQ, and business awards. Resolve all commercial and technical queries arising from the quote process. Develop negotiation strategy and approach, acceptable terms and conditions, and lead the negotiation team through to closure Negotiate contracts, including Master Purchase Agreements (MPA), Master Service Agreements (MSA), and Statements of Work (SOW), with a demonstrated understanding of key terms and conditions Own and provide market and actual unit and total cost data, including development of should-cost models for data center equipment Drive all critical operations related to assurance of supply and capacity through partnership with Demand/Supply team for accurate demand forecasting, materials management, qualification and reliability management, and supply allocation decisions Minimum Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in commodity management in a high-tech environment 10+ years of experience in business or supply chain management, with a focus on data center equipment, off-site manufacturing, power, cooling, compute, artificial intelligence systems, or hardware supply chain and associated industries Experience interfacing with internal and external partners in often ambiguous and cross-functional environments, requiring a wide latitude for judgment while coordinating people and technical resources In-depth understanding of "should cost" modeling and trade-offs of make vs buy for data center equipment Experience analyzing complex data and making informed decisions Demonstrated experience influencing, negotiating, building consensus, and making key decisions Experience in improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective-based performance measures in data center equipment commodities Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and driving cost savings in a high-growth, technology environment Familiarity with data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, power/cooling systems and off-site manufacturing Analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, cost analysis, and market intelligence Experience with supplier risk management, business continuity planning, and supply assurance strategies Advanced proficiency in procurement and sourcing tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa) and data analysis software Public Compensation:$121,000/year to $177,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndustry: InternetEqual Opportunity:Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
