OVERVIEW: The Newcoast Director of Finance is a key leader within the Newcoast Finance organization responsible for driving excellence for both financial and customer satisfaction performance. The primary focus of this role is to maximize deal profitability while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and deal management. The Newcoast Director of Finance is responsible for the growth, development, and continued expansion of the Business Manager team. The Director of Finance will embody the mission and values of Newcoast to develop and execute strategies that positively impact the growth, profitability and reach of the entire Newcoast organization. POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:Reports To: Newcoast Vice President of Finance Key Internal Relationships: Newcoast Business Manager team, Operations Manager, Senior Credit Manager, Operations Team Direct Reports: Newcoast Business Manager Team KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Embrace and promote Newcoast’s values, mission statement, and vision, fostering a team culture aligned with the company’s goals. Ensure adherence to all company, state, and federal laws and regulations, minimizing company exposure. Report any potential risks to the Vice President of Newcoast Finance. Assist in recruiting, coaching, and developing the Newcoast Business Manager team to meet company goals. Oversee daily deal management of Hubspot Dashboards, including, deal statuses, comments, and closing dates. Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance deal management, closing timeliness, and deal profitability. Monitor finance performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with VP of Newcoast Finance to implement specific training and operational improvements to enact change. Lead the onboarding process for Newcoast Business Managers and ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed in recreational lending, effective product sales, and customer experience success through training and the continued sharing of best practices. Proactively provide deal closing support when there are needs or absences, participate in select boat shows, selling events, and promotional activities as needed. Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, maintaining a professional and knowledgeable image in all interactions. Stay informed on industry trends to maintain Newcoast’s competitive edge. Perform additional duties as assigned. KEY RESULT AREAS:Meet or exceed monthly and annual F&I profit, ESC penetration targets, and Insurance Referrals through effective team influence and support of deal management by maximizing all finance deal opportunities. Consistently provide world-class customer service while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. Foster the development of high-performing teams through positive relationships with team members and business partners, resulting in recognition for leadership, professionalism and expertise.
