Special procedures experience preferred. Description: Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting. Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders. Assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor, pass instruments and catheters, and observe patient response to procedures. Maintain a sterile field and interpret and evaluate diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician. A weekend rotation is every fourth weekend. On-call required, approximately seven or more days per month. Holiday rotation also included.
