LVN - Transitional Care Unit

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the LicensedVocational Nurse is a care giver who assumes responsibility for a group ofpatients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provides care topatients via therapeutic use of self . Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: One year of experience as an LVN in a clinical setting preferred CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license required Current CPR certificate required IV Certification as evidenced on Primary Source Verification of LVN License (Certified in intravenous therapy and blood withdrawal required for LVNs working in Home Health, Hospice, Ambulatory Surgery, or the Transitional Care Unit) Elder Abuse training required within 60 days of hire
