Facility: Administrative Regional Training CntrShift: Shift 1Status: Full Time FTE: 1.000000Bargaining Unit: ACE AssociatesExempt from Overtime: Exempt: NoWork Schedule: DaysHours:8am-4pmSummary:The Catholic Medical Partners Clinical Pharmacy Program is intended to improve the pharmaceutical care, both clinically and economically, of all patients of Catholic Medical Partners providers, by providing resources specialized in pharmacy. The Lead Pharmacy Technician will function as a member of the Catholic Medical Partners (CMP) Clinical Pharmacy Department team to call patients for quality metrics or to help with setting patients up with patient assistance programs to help with the financial burden of some brand name medications. They will also assist with communication amongst the health care team, documentation of prescriber responses to pharmacist recommendations, and collection of data to monitor the care process. Duties are performed under the supervision of a CMP Clinical Pharmacist.Responsibilities:EDUCATION High School diploma or equivalency Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification Board ( PTCB ) training preferred EXPERIENCE Minimum six (6) months previous pharmacy experience as pharmacist technician required Additional pharmacy experience preferred Previous experience in direct customer service environments preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY Manual dexterity Knowledge of math and conversions between units of measure Ability to communicate effectively with excellent customer service skills Computer skills – knowledge of Excel Must learn abbreviations, including brand and generic comparisons for interpreting prescriptions at data entry and filling Knowledge of pharmacy law WORKING CONDITIONS:ENVIRONMENT Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment
