Hadoop Engineer

This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Impala, HBase, Docker-Container, Ansible, and more. As a key member of our agile development process, you will interact, develop, and communicate collaboratively at the highest technical levels with clients, development teams, vendors, and other partners. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in cluster management of vendor-based Hadoop and Data Science products like Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, Talend, Greenfield, ELK, etc. Strong knowledge of Hadoop Architecture, HDFS, and Hadoop Cluster management Intimate knowledge of fully integrated AD/Kerberos authentication Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, database management (Sybase/SQL/Oracle), Java, Python, Perl, Shell scripting, and infrastructure Experience with automation / DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, SVN, and Bitbucket Preferred Skills & Qualifications Certification in Cloud, Docker-Container, OpenShift Technologies Experience in Monitoring Alerting and Job Scheduling Systems Cloudera Admin / Dev Certification Applicants must be able to work directly for us on W2 Day-to-Day Responsibilities Manage platform operations across all environments, including upgrades, bug fixes, deployments, metrics/monitoring, disaster recovery, incident/problem/capacity management Provide subject matter expertise in managing Hadoop and Data Science Platform operations, focusing on Cloudera Hadoop, Jupyter Notebook, OpenShift, Docker-Container Cluster Management and Administration Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive team culture that values collaboration and innovation For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with us.
