Job Description Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to align on project goals and timelines. Conduct site inspections and address any issues or delays promptly. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Chicago. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Implement and maintain site safety programs to promote a safe working environment. The Successful Applicant A successful Traveling Superintendent should have: Proven experience in managing construction projects in the property industry, including light industrial, tilt-wall, mission-critical, and data center projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building regulations. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams and subcontractors effectively. Ability to resolve challenges and ensure timely project completion with high-quality results. Flexibility to travel and work on-site as required by project locations.
