QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST A Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders ASHA certification A valid State Speech Language Pathology License Every state requires a Speech Language Pathologist to hold a state license. If you currently do not possess a license for a specific state, our licensing team at PDS is here to assist you throughout the process! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the lives of children by helping them achieve success in both academic and social settings. Your efforts will be meaningful as you provide high-quality services tailored to students’ IEPs and 504 plans. You will conduct evaluations, assessments, and write detailed reports to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
