Job Description

Bookkeeper We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong experience in QuickBooks and a deep understanding of UK tax laws, including VAT, CIS, PAYE, and other HMRC requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and capable of managing financial records with precision and compliance. This position starts as part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly. Prepare and submit VAT returns, CIS statements, and PAYE reports in compliance with UK tax laws. Support payroll processing and ensure all employee payments and deductions are accurate. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as needed. Assist with end-of-year financials and liaise with accountants or auditors when necessary. Ensure compliance with all HMRC deadlines and regulations. Provide clear communication and financial insights to management.
