Your Role: As a Lead Product Manager, you will take the helm of initiatives aimed at enhancing onboarding and safety. Your mission is to transform account management into a key driver of platform growth, all while prioritizing user trust and safety. You will work at the intersection of user experience, regulatory compliance, and community health to ensure that our most vulnerable users are protected while facilitating seamless access for millions of creators and viewers. This role is part of our Health organization and requires extensive expertise in trust and safety product development, including age assurance, parental controls, and adherence to intricate regulations. Your focus will be on minimizing user friction while implementing essential protections to maintain Twitch as a secure haven for everyone. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of account-related features that simultaneously boost platform growth and enhance user safety. Design and implement user flows for age assurance, parental controls, and passwordless authentication. Ensure compliance with international safety regulations, including COPPA, GDPR-Age, UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and emerging legislation. Lead strategies for age verification and minor protection features, setting the standard for safeguarding young users. Optimize the interplay between necessary data collection and user experience to improve safety outcomes and support growth. Make strategic decisions in account management that positively impact millions of users and foster platform health. Collaborate closely with community product, design, engineering, legal, policy, trust and safety, and data teams to deliver cohesive solutions. Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product specifications and user-friendly experiences. Successful track record in developing authentication systems, content moderation tools, and user protection features at scale. Thorough understanding of online safety regulations and compliance across various jurisdictions. Ability to manage competing priorities like platform growth, user trust, safety, and regulatory compliance. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives involving policy, legal, trust, and safety experts. Deep understanding of diverse user behaviors and community standards, particularly regarding safety requirements of different user segments. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in a technology or business-related field. Experience with authentication systems or identity verification. Hands-on experience in large-scale consumer platforms addressing age assurance or minor protection issues. Prior implementation of COPPA, GDPR-Age, or similar child safety compliance frameworks. Familiarity with SQL and data-driven decision-making processes. Background in gaming, social media, or live streaming industries. Experience collaborating with customer experience and creator tools teams. Compensation for this role is competitive and will reflect market conditions, with a base pay range from $136,100 to $235,200 per year based on experience.
