The Field Operations Manager plays a vital role in overseeing staff, ensuring excellent guest relations, and managing inventory effectively. You will be actively involved in delivering food during peak hours and responsible for the start-up and shut down of equipment and processes during opening and closing shifts, respectively. Your responsibilities will also include cash flow management, reporting, and cost control. Key Responsibilities: Manage and develop employees, fostering a positive team environment. Enhance guest experiences through effective relations and sales strategies. Oversee inventory management, including ordering and receipt processes. Deliver food during busy periods, ensuring timely service. Start up equipment and processes for operations at the beginning of shifts. Handle closing procedures and ensure the store is shut down correctly. Manage cash flow and conduct deposit operations. Conduct new hire orientations and maintain necessary reports. Maintain cost control measures and manage P&L effectively. Lead staff meetings, address issues as they arise, and handle safety protocols. Supervise catering operations and the Safe Driver program. Coach and develop hourly employees to maximize their potential. Exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times. Secondary Responsibilities: Participate in regional manager meetings and collaborate with peers. Assist with various roles in the Café as needed. Manage phone orders and assist with food deliveries when required. Execute Catering Sales Initiatives, including guest follow-ups and community coordination. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Valid State Foodhandler card and ServSafe certification. A minimum of 1 year as a Shift Supervisor in restaurant operations or similar experience. Strong guest service and communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask. Knowledge of CBC CORE systems and completion of CBC Management Training. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and POS systems. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. Formal leadership training a plus. A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required with the ability to maintain a clear driving record.
