Join our team as a dynamic Program Manager with a passion for operational excellence in the internet and telecommunications sector. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the Amazon Leo initiative, which aims to revolutionize connectivity for underserved communities through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. As a key member of the Global Service Compliance (GSC) team, you will manage complex compliance programs that span planning, execution, and continuous improvement. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the regulatory landscape while keeping our compliance strategies aligned with the evolving Amazon Leo business objectives. Your daily responsibilities will include: Developing and executing comprehensive compliance workstream strategies that support Amazon Leo's global expansion. Owning the prioritization and strategic planning for assigned compliance workstreams to ensure they align with the overall business goals. Collaborating with technical and business teams to create scalable compliance solutions. Acting as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination. Maintaining essential administrative functions and management of knowledge resources for internal teams. This role demands an excellent communicator who can tailor messages to diverse audiences, including technical and business stakeholders. You will track performance, report on successes and risks, and make informed recommendations to enhance compliance efforts. The position may be based in Bellevue, WA, or Arlington, VA, and will require some domestic and international travel. Please be aware that our current roles do not involve intergalactic travel. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in program or project management. 3+ years of experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data. Proficiency in Excel and SQL at an advanced level. Experience in leveraging data and metrics for performance improvement. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years driving end-to-end delivery and conveying results to leadership. 3+ years of process improvement experience. Skilled in stakeholder management with experience engaging multiple levels of an organization. Expertise in building processes, project management, and scheduling. The base salary for this position is between $74,200.00 and $129,800.00 in Arlington, VA, and between $82,700.00 and $129,800.00 in Bellevue, WA.
