Overview: The Channel Account Manager plays a crucial role in fostering and expanding relationships with Mitel Channel Partners, driving sales growth and maximizing revenue from our Strategic VAR channel partners. This is a remote position. We welcome your application! Responsibilities: Collaborate with assigned partners to create and implement joint business plans and sales strategies through strong relationship building. Generate sales and revenue growth by increasing demand generation initiatives with partners. Enhance partner effectiveness in Mitel's Global Channel Partner Program, broadening their understanding of Mitel's solutions, services, features, and benefits. Provide training to partners on effectively marketing, selling, deploying, and supporting Mitel solutions. Facilitate partner access to essential pre-sales resources, including Sales Engineering and internal departments as needed. Address partner-related issues and sales conflicts ethically and promptly, aligning with Mitel's guidelines. Engage with partners by participating in joint sales calls and assisting them in closing opportunities. Organize local partner participation in events and drive product promotions to maximize revenue. Support partners post-sales with resources for provisioning, programming, technical support, and customer success. Monitor and drive partner success metrics, focusing on revenue growth, retention, and churn. Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred; or high school diploma with equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Telecommunications industry. 5 years of experience working with channel partners. Demonstrated success in B2B sales of high-technology solutions, preferred experience in UC/UCaaS or voice and data networks. Proven track record in a channel sales role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Able to build cross-functional relationships and influence others towards common goals. Adaptable to changes in roles and market trends while achieving results. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, independent environment.
