Job Summary Set up and operate machine tools to produce, modify, or repair precision parts and maintain industrial equipment, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and machining processes. Responsibilities also include fabricating and adjusting parts, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing maintenance on all production and support equipment while ensuring quality standards and a safe work environment Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. Operate and maintain machine shop equipment, including mills, lathes, drill presses, welding, and cutting tools. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on presses, delivery systems, feeders, and other production equipment. Interpret/Work from blueprints/technical plans to repair, maintain, and install machinery. Assist team members with equipment repairs and diagnosing mechanical issues. Monitor schedules and accurately document preventive maintenance activities. Troubleshoot mechanical problems, making necessary adjustments to sustain production efficiency and meet quality standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to process and procedure enhancements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all safety policies. Perform additional duties as assigned/required. Other (Non-Essential) Functions Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA. Other duties and assignments as required. Job Requirements Minimum of 4--5 years of machine shop experience. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong basic math skills, including ability to read scales and work with fractions. Familiarity with folding, cutting, printing, and ancillary equipment Demonstrated manual dexterity and ability to perform detailed mechanical work with speed and accuracy. Practical knowledge of Offset/Flexo printing, inks, and solvents preferred. Understanding of envelope sizes, paper weights, and types preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening ability. Industry-related experience and mechanical knowledge required. Ability to coordinate, communicate, and problem-solve across departments to support production and quality. Basic computer proficiency. Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed. Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work. Work performed on the manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving machinery. Must follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility in Cleveland, OH: 3rd Shift - 11:20 p.m. - 7:20 a.m. - Sunday-Thursday The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing machinery, troubleshooting and repairing of envelope machines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, machining of parts as required, ordering of parts, and complying with all safety policies and procedures. Plumbing, Material Handling, Baling, Electrical, etc. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday with Saturdays required during busy season/based on business needs.
