ServiceNow Developer (CMDB Developer)

Design, configure, and improve CMDB solutions to enhance data accuracy and automate discovery. Strengthen ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management functions through ServiceNow. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and delivery teams to align solutions with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions focused on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping. Integrate CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management modules for better data visibility and efficiency. Configure identification and reconciliation rules, CI classes, and relationships. Develop and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and Orchestration. Conduct data analysis, reconciliation, and audits to maintain CMDB data integrity. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver solutions. Troubleshoot issues related to CMDB data, integrations, and system performance. Support platform upgrades, patching, and continuous process improvements. Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Experience: Over 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development or engineering experience. Strong knowledge of CMDB structure, CI relationships, and Discovery patterns. Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow configuration. Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or SAM. Understanding of Discovery, MID Server setup, and integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc. bility to create technical documentation and solution designs.
