Maintenance Mechanic Pay: $28.00–$30.00/hrLocation: Broken Arrow, OKShift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (10–11 hour shifts possible, Saturdays as needed)Job Type: Temp-to-HireJob Order #: 123933 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support the inspection, repair, and maintenance of diesel-powered industrial equipment in Broken Arrow. The Maintenance Mechanic will diagnose mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure compressors, generators, and related equipment operate safely and efficiently. This Maintenance Mechanic role is ideal for candidates with diesel engine maintenance experience in industrial, oil and gas, or heavy equipment environments. Required Experience & Skills • 3+ years of diesel engine maintenance experience, preferably in oil and gas or industrial environments• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders• Experience using diagnostic tools and software to identify engine issues• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and shop equipment safely• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet OSHA safety standards• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Maintenance Mechanic role includes: • Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines used in compressors, generators, and industrial equipment• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and coolant flushes• Troubleshoot issues related to fuel systems, turbochargers, cooling systems, and exhaust systems• Use diagnostic tools and software to evaluate engine performance and identify faults• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance documentation• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment• Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation technicians to support integrated systems• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety meetings and audits Physical & Working Conditions • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry materials up to 25 lbs• Ability to bend, squat, climb, twist, and reach during work activities• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and industrial environments• Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the workday as required• Must wear all required PPE including FR clothing, helmet, face shield, hearing protection, safety goggles, and steel-toe boots If you have experience working with diesel-powered industrial equipment, apply today for the Maintenance Mechanic position in Broken Arrow.
