Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,520 - $1,640 per week Respiratory Therapist Job Details Location: Elyria, OH 44035 (Cleveland area - Ohio healthcare jobs) Setting: Hospital - Respiratory Therapy Unit Assignment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist Start Date: January 25, 2026 End Date: April 25, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential - NBRC certification Active Ohio RRT license (required upon hire) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or acute care setting Ability to meet physical demands: frequent standing, walking, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs Completion of all required onboarding health screenings and documentation Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities Deliver high-quality respiratory care and therapy with minimal supervision in a hospital environment Administer mechanical ventilation, medicated aerosol treatments, and airway clearance therapy Monitor patients, provide oxygen and humidity therapy, and assess respiratory status Participate in special procedures including CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, and patient transport Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient privacy, and safety standards Perform additional clinical duties as assigned by the respiratory therapy department Discover the charm of Elyria, Ohio, with its scenic Black River, vibrant downtown, and proximity to Lake Erie and Cleveland's healthcare community.
