Job Description The Senior Associate, Asset Management will be responsible for overseeing the performance of a diversified residential portfolio. This role involves direct interaction with property managers, operating partners, and internal teams to drive value creation, monitor performance, and execute on business plans. Specific responsibilities include: Provide strategic asset management and oversight for a portfolio of residential properties. Partner closely with property managers and operating partners to execute business plans. Monitor and analyze property financial performance, budgets, and forecasts. Prepare quarterly reporting, valuations, investment models, and updates for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate on capital projects, including renovations, repositioning, and branding initiatives. Support acquisition and disposition efforts, including pre-acquisition due diligence and market analysis. Conduct research on target markets, assess risks/opportunities, and present findings to the investment team. Review third-party reports, financials, and underwriting assumptions during due diligence. Coordinate with service providers across accounting, debt, construction, legal, and property management. Contribute to firm culture by mentoring junior team members and supporting cross-functional initiatives. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in real estate asset management, with a focus on residential property types (multifamily, student housing, assisted or age-restricted living, etc.). Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills. Experience with dispositions and/or refinancing a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to partners and senior leadership.
