Job Title: Human Resources Generalist (manufacturing)Location: Lakewood, NJType: Direct HireCompensation: $65000 - $70000 annually. Annual bonus up to 10%Contractor Work Model: Onsite (no remote offered)Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMHR Generalist Responsibilities: Reports to Plant Manager and Sr. HR Generalist. This is a "mid-level" HR role and key member of the management team. Serves as first point of contact for all employee inquiries, concerns and workplace issues, provides guidance in alignment with company policies and applicable laws. 120 FTE's. 24/5 manufacturing facility. Supports full-cycle recruiting activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding to ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience. Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Administer employee benefit programs and leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, state leave), ensuring timely communication and accurate tracking. Coordinate and support employee training initiatives, compliance training, and professional development activities. HR Generalist Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related HR field is highly preferred. Minimum high school diploma is required. PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired. At least two (2) years of related HR experience - strength in personnel investigations, employee discipline and compliance is highly desired Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to handle high level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
