Graduate from an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse. For RNs with a Bachelor's Degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing: one year of recent nursing experience in an acute treatment unit, psychiatric home care, PHP, or another out-patient psychiatric service within the last three years is required. For RNs with an Associate's Degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing: two years of recent nursing experience in similar settings is required. Required Certifications and Licensures: Active registered nurse license in the state of practice. Current CPR certification is required and must be maintained during employment in a clinical role.
