Senior Proposal Specialist

The Senior Proposal Specialist for PBM will play a critical role in crafting precise, compelling, and strategic responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other essential presentations related to PBM, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy management. This position is based in our Birmingham, AL headquarters, but we also welcome applications for remote work. Key Responsibilities Include: Collaborate with marketing and subject matter experts (SMEs) to effectively communicate the Integrated RxBenefits story through proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging content. Act as the lead coordinator for proposal and presentation development, ensuring all client-facing materials are compelling and informative. Conduct thorough research on the market, industry, and competitors to enhance proposal content and other communications. Manage proposal timelines, including scheduling, coordinating, and tracking edits and input to meet deadlines. Identify and address inefficiencies in the proposal process to improve overall effectiveness. Maintain and enhance standard proposal materials, templates, and content libraries. Draft comprehensive responses to RFPs and create content for pitch opportunities. Work with Principal Advisors, Sales Directors, and other team members to tailor strategies for RFP responses and ensure coordinated participation and input. Contribute to content marketing initiatives designed to boost traffic, engagement, and leads for improved sales and customer retention. Partner with the Marketing Director and SMEs to develop specialized content for proposals and presentations, as well as white papers and case studies. Uphold the highest standard of quality for all materials produced, including proposals, presentations, and marketing assets. Adhere to RxBenefits' Information Security Management System and company policies. Required Skills / Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience in PBM is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint. Experience with RFP management software such as Responsive, Conveyor, or Loopio. Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail. Able to draft, proofread, and edit documents swiftly and accurately. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Detail-oriented and process-driven with the ability to keep projects on track and involve the necessary stakeholders. Preferred Skills/Experience: 3-5+ years of proposal writing experience in a professional services or marketing environment, with knowledge of best practices in proposal production. Salary & Benefits: Based on market data and other factors, the expected salary range for this position is $67,200 - $84,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity. This role is also eligible for short-term incentives which may vary based on individual and business goals. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
