In our Technology Risk practice, you will equip clients with a transparent and dependable overview of their risk environments. Our strategies empower clients to foster trust and confidence with their customers. You'll assist clients in implementing effective information systems, resources, and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks. Expect to collaborate with client personnel and EY professionals to analyze, assess, and improve clients' information systems to support business operations. We cater to various industries including, but not limited to: Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility, Power & Utilities, Health Sciences & Wellness, Consumer, Technology, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications. Staff in this role will have exposure to a diverse clientele across these sectors. Those opting for the Government & Public Sector (GPS) practice will work exclusively with federal clients, alongside state and local agencies and educational institutions. Choosing the Financial Services Organization (FSO) will direct your focus towards financial services, where you will serve leading investment banks, commercial and retail banks, insurers, and investment managers. As a 360 Careers Staff member, you'll engage in structured, skills-based endeavors known as expeditions that will deepen your business acumen and align with your career interests. Your Key Responsibilities Document and analyze clients' business and IT processes, risks, and controls. Conduct control documentation and testing through client evidence review and interviews. Collaborate with the engagement team to plan the project, drafting timelines, and defining roles for key tasks, as well as preparing planning documents. Monitor and manage project progression and associated risks, ensuring all stakeholders are informed on milestones and expected outcomes. Create flowcharts and process documentation relevant to client operations. Carry out assignments and projects such as System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports, third-party risk assessments, and IT risk assessments as part of SOX and Financial Statement audits. Skills and Attributes for Success To qualify for this role, you must possess: An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a similar field. A clear desire to work in IT audit, demonstrated through relevant coursework, interests, or internship experiences. Willingness to work beyond standard hours if necessary. Occasional travel may also be required based on client and project needs. For candidates aiming for the Government & Public Sector focus, U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Access to reliable transportation to and from the EY office and client locations. Ideally, You Will Have Aiming to obtain a relevant certification (CPA, CISA, etc.). The base salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, with individual salaries influenced by various factors including education and experience.
