The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Software Developer to become an integral part of our Software, Technology, Engineering, Product & Networking (STEPN) organization. This fast-paced and dynamic role focuses on the design, development, and deployment of robust software solutions within a cloud-native architecture aimed at managing and aggregating Network orchestration. Your expertise will be crucial in translating business needs into effective technical designs and providing strategic direction for the integration of complex systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications utilizing Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud), Go, or Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI). Lead the modernization of applications by refactoring monolithic architectures into microservices and migrating legacy platforms to AWS. Develop user-facing features and components using front-end technologies, including Vue.js. Manage the front-end served by React and JavaScript with a PHP backend. Implement RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and serverless systems. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines employing Jenkins, AWS DevOps (X-Ray, CloudWatch), and Git workflows to automate procedures. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources. Manage configuration systems utilizing tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps). Develop scalable CI/CD platforms to handle high volumes of changes and ensure rapid feedback. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Software Delivery, and Quality Assurance teams to facilitate cloud automation. Coordinate and monitor release activities, managing dependencies, risks, and timelines. Troubleshoot deployment issues and conduct root cause analyses to maintain reliable releases. Maintain accurate release documentation, manage processes, and propose continuous improvements. Research and recommend new technologies to enhance operational efficiency. What We Are Looking For Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, or a related field. 7+ years of software development experience, specifically in Java, Go, or Python. Proven experience with JavaScript frameworks for frontend development. Strong background in Network automation orchestration, ideally with Axon Orchestrator or similar. In-depth knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancing). 3+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure. Preferred Strong understanding of system engineering, infrastructure design, and software development lifecycle methodologies. Expertise with Kubernetes orchestration and Docker containerization. Experience advocating for DevSecOps practices. Familiarity with infrastructure technologies (Load balancers, SSL, API Gateways, DNS, etc.). Monitoring and logging experience using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack. Complementary knowledge of API architecture and design best practices. Complementary understanding of service provider networking concepts and technologies. Compensation The base salary range for this role reflects national averages and may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
