A flexible and meaningful career is possible with Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach Join our team as a valued one-on-one caregiver  Benefits of Being a Caregiver: Starting pay (for PCA, HHA, and NA) is $14-$16/hr, for CNAs $14.50-$16/hr  Shift premiums for weekends and couple's care, per visit flat rate available  Opportunities for voluntary overtime shifts  Medical, dental, vision, supplemental health plans for accident and injury  401k, with company match  Company paid virtual doctor visits/telehealth, after 1 year of employment  Opportunity for advancement, as the business grows  Yearly reviews, with performance bonuses  Our valued caregivers help seniors in their communities to live independently and safely at home through much needed companionship and non medical assistance.   At Home Caregiver Responsibilities: Provide non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes Provide mobility assistance, such as walking and transfers  Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders  Monitor fluid intake and output  Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks   Monitor patients overnight, assisting with mobility challenges and transfers  Job Requirements: Must be 18 years or older to apply    Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required   Must have a current CNA, NA, PCA, or HHA certification, or be willing to obtain one prior to starting work Current PPD  Must be self directed and able to work with minimal supervision  Able to pass drug screening and criminal background check      Did you know Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach offers a PCA certification course that is available to you?
