As a Manager of Customs and International Trade Tax, you will provide strategic guidance to clients as they navigate complex regulations. Your role will be crucial in indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy for value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax, and various other indirect taxes. Develop, mentor, and supervise team members to ensure high-quality outcomes. Independently resolve complex challenges. Establish and maintain important client relationships. Guide and motivate teams during challenging circumstances. Adhere to PwC's quality standards while aligning efforts with the firm’s strategic objectives. Utilize technology and innovative practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Encourage digitization and automation for enhanced client impact. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. CPA, Bar admission, or other relevant credentials in tax, technology, or finance are advantageous. Preferred Attributes: Master of Business Administration in Management, Economics, Finance, or related fields. Admission to the Bar or Licensed Customs Broker designation. Strong command of US Customs and Border Protection procedures. Ability to analyze internal control practices. Experience assessing compliance with import regulations. Knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Classification and customs valuation. Proficient in managing resources and project workflows. Exceptional skills in building and maintaining client relationships. Strong communication abilities to convey distinctive offerings. Experience in supervising teams while fostering trust. Encouraging diverse perspectives for ongoing improvement. Coaching and providing timely feedback to team members. Innovating with both new and established technologies. Experience working with large, complex data sets. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. Additionally, all hires are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement plans.
