Senior Integration Developer for Appian

Join Atlas Technologies as a Senior Integration Developer for Appian and become part of a progressive IT team dedicated to crafting advanced process automation solutions that connect our Appian low-code platform with PeopleSoft ERP. In this pivotal role, you will create a sophisticated 'agility layer' that empowers users to interact seamlessly with PeopleSoft data and workflows from within Appian interfaces. Fully remote position available to residents in AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MS, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV. Minimal travel required (up to 10%). Key Responsibilities: Integration Architecture: Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft web services (REST/SOAP). Data Modeling: Develop complex Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that align with the underlying Oracle database schemas of PeopleSoft. Workflow Automation: Create comprehensive process models that initiate actions in PeopleSoft, such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates. API Development: Build Appian Web APIs to enable real-time data updates or event notifications from PeopleSoft into Appian. Interface Design: Construct user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems. Security & Authentication: Establish secure system integrations using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication. You have: U.S. Citizenship. Possession of a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance with the capacity to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance. Appian Expertise: More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or later. Database Proficiency: Advanced SQL (PL/SQL preferred) skills for optimizing queries in Oracle databases. Web Services: In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML for effective cross-system communication. Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications: Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer is highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Appian Data Fabric for integrating various data sources. Familiarity with Java or JavaScript for creating custom plugins if standard connectors prove inadequate. PeopleSoft Familiarity: Knowledge of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces, along with the ability to collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements.
