Personal Care Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support elementary students with our client in Sellersville, PA. In this role, you will work closely with students to help them achieve academic and behavioral goals, providing the necessary modifications to ensure they can fully access the school curriculum and facilities. Key Responsibilities Student Support: Assist students in meeting specific academic and behavioral objectives. Curriculum Adaptation: Help adapt teaching materials and provide physical support as needed. Facility Access: Ensure students have the necessary supports/modifications to navigate the school environment safely and effectively. Collaboration: Report directly to the Supervisor of Special Education and the Building Principal to implement student plans. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience working with students exhibiting behavioral challenges. Specialization: Strong experience with Autism spectrum disorders and behavioral management techniques is required. Gender Specification: This specific placement requires a male PCA. Schedule Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:50 PM Credentialing Requirements Successful candidates must provide the following clearances and documentation: PA State Police Clea rance (Act 34) Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151) FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114) School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test) PDE 6004 Form (Act 24) Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168) Current CPR/First Aid Cer tification
