Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Job Details:• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be indicated on submission)• 13-week assignment length• Weekend hours as required by facility, every other weekend• No call requirements• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs• 20-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:6-7 on nights• Care for medical/surgical patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities• Work with Nova Meters for blood glucose, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, and SCD machines• Use EPIC electronic medical record system• Required: Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure, BLS from AHA, 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience• Preferred: ACLS from AHA• Dress code: Black scrubs required, no open-toed shoes• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1• Must be team player willing to provide care to diverse patient population• Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, lifting and turning patients with assistance Facility:This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
