Vehicle Maintenance Porter

Join the dynamic team at Camping World as a Vehicle Maintenance Porter! We are looking for dedicated individuals to drive and support our exceptional service efforts. As a key player in maintaining our lot, you will help ensure the cleanliness and readiness of our recreational vehicles. What You'll Do: Efficiently park and move RV units. Install and remove window prices on recreational vehicles as directed. Perform weekly lot washes and maintain cleanliness of all units and aisles. Write work orders, track issues, and verify units are fully operational. Keep the lot clean and professional by sweeping, picking up trash, and emptying garbage cans. Secure units and equipment against weather damage. Conduct weekly physical inventory. Ensure slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings opened, and doors unlocked. Maintain a safe and tidy work environment for customers and colleagues. What You'll Need to Have for the Role: High school diploma or equivalent. Towing experience is preferred. Ability to operate a yard tractor and/or forklift. Capability to drive an RV. Experience with generators and operating slide-outs. Ability to repair minor issues and identify problematic units. Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistance. Willingness to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for extended periods. Comfortable with heights and aware of safety hazards related to electrical and welding equipment. Prepare for various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and moisture. General Compensation Disclosure The pay range for this role is influenced by various factors, including experience, skills, and business needs. A reasonable estimate is between $14.65 and $28.01 hourly.
